Music, Philosophy and Design Birthday Bash!

A night of philosophy, live jazz music, and design conversations.

The talks and experience:
 

• 6:00 - 7:15pm - Food, Dabs, and Drinks!
  Appetizers, dabbing, casual conversation and drinks. We are going to pass out the dabs early as it takes a while for them to sink in.
   

• 7:15 - 7:25pm Introduction to French Dab by Tauras Skripkauskas
   

• 7:25 - 7.55pm Introduction to Music and Design; Philosophy and Music Talk
  Arturo Perez will give his lightning talk on Philosophy and Music; showing how different ideas of meaning shaped the sounds of Western music
   

• 7:55 - 8:15pm Stations: Visualizing How Music Works
  Brady Ajay will discuss how family history, jazz, information architecture, and data visualization merge in his latest art project
   

• 8:15pm - 8:30pm - Q&A
   

• 8:30pm - 10pm - Live Music & Casual Conversations
  Secret Jazz Club will pop up at the Loft featuring Brady’s jazz trio to celebrate Arturo’s birthday and kick off 2018

We'll serve appetizers and plenty of cocktails.
